The Oaks Pony Club Annual Camp
(Maximum 50 Riders)
Venue: Bicentennial Equestrian Centre, Sheathers Lane, Camden
Starting Time: 8.30 am Saturday – have horses saddled ready to go Finishing time: Approx. 3.15pm Sunday riding finishes.
Please remember that all adults camping must have a valid WWCC.
$70.00 per child
This includes lunch and dinner for the weekend for the riding children (does not include cans of drink, snacks or breakfast)
Horse yards are available. You need to bring a rope or chain to go across the front of the yard. These are not allocated, but are on a first in basis. However there are plenty.
Canteen facilities will be available all weekend (much the same as a rally day).
Family and friends of the riding children will be able to purchase lunch, as well as snacks and cans of drink. Bring your own breakfast for Sunday morning please.
Each family is asked to bring a plate of something to share for morning and afternoon tea, eg: biscuits, cake, etc. (we will divide them up between the 2 days).
Saturday Night Dinner:
Saturday Night Dinner will be Wood fire pizza including dessert . The cost will be $22 per Adult or Non-Riding Child under 16. are
$15.00 each. Children who are riding at the camp already have this dinner included as part of their fee.
Dinner will be at 6:00pm - all horses are to be put to bed by 4:30pm. We need to know definite numbers attending dinner so please indicate on the booking form how many extras (adults and non-riding children) will be attending.
The riders will engage in a variety of activities over the weekend. We are still putting the full program together, but some of the activities we have had in the past have been Dressage, Show Jumping, Camp Drafting, Polo, Cross Country, Western Pleasure, Orienteering …. (with guest instructors). Full
program will be advised as we get closer to the camp date.

The Oaks Horse and Pony Club Annual Auction
Commencing at approximately 7:30 pm
This is the opportunity we take to bring along our most valued possessions, donate them to the club, raise money for a great cause (our club) and clear out our sheds, tack rooms and garages (but make sure it is good used quality if not new). There are always a few surprises!!! Or you can donate something, for example, chocolates, a bottle of alcohol or anything else you can get your hands on. If you have a business and would like to donate a product or service, that would be great. If you know a business that would like to contribute to our auction, please feel free to ask them for a donation!
Afterwards we can all sit around the camp fire and have a chat and a drink, even a sing-a-long.
Musical instruments welcome (don’t be shy).
Bring along your gold coins so that you can participate in the various auction activities. If possible please bring a couple of pieces of wood for the campfire.
