HARDEN PONY CLUB INC - ONE DAY EVENT

Grades:  A, B, C, D, E, Introductory & Led

ENTRY FEE:

$40.00 per horse/rider, $25 per Introductory/Led horse/rider

$105 Family entry (3 or more siblings, only if 1 horse per rider)

E GradeEv Test A 45 & 60 2020 (caller allowed no penalty)

Introductory and Led Goup – EA Prep B 2015 40x20m 

Conditions of Entry:

  • Entries limited to first 100 entries received and maximum 25 entries in each grade
  • Riders graded C and above may enter on 2 horses, however only 1 horse may be ridden competitively. The 2nd horse can be either lower, higher or the same grade. If the second non-competitive horse is in the same grade then the second non-competitive horse must be ridden last. Both horses must have ODE grading cards. If more than 100 entries are received then the second horse will be refunded after the close of entries. This will be done on last in first out until a maximum of 100 horses are entered for the competition.
  • Grade submitted on entry is to be grade competed on day
  • Introductory will be a maximum height of 40cm for show jumping and cross country. This grade is for children who are not assisted and not yet graded E Grade. This class will be scored and riders will ride the cross country course by themselves in competition format. It is the responsibility of parents to walk the courses with their child/ren so they know where to go.
  • Led Group will be poles on the ground for show jumping and the child is to be led or closely attended by an adult. Cross country will be ridden as a group. Every Led rider will receive a prize..
  • Grading cards, helmets & back protectors must be presented at registration
  • The Draw will be emailed by Wednesday 11th November 2020. If you have not received the draw by this date please contact us.
  • Back Number Holders for cross country must be supplied by the riders, and numbers printed at home. Back numbers will be on the draw. Please print these in the following format: Landscape Orientation, Bold, Centred in page, Font Size 450, Font Calibri. Please print two copies for front and back of your back number holder.  
  • Riders can use the back number or a bridle number for the dressage and showjumping phases.
  • Showjumping will be a clear round and optimum time.
  • Gear Check –A gear check will be made prior to each phase, and it is the responsibility of each rider to comply.
  • Each Family entering (except Introductory & Led riders) must nominate a cross country judge. No entry will be accepted without a cross country judge nominated. Led/Introductory riders please enter the person who will be assisting you in this field in the entry document.
  • Every rider on the cross country course must wear a body protector manufactured after 2009 and labelled as complying with one of the following standards - EN13158:2009 level 3 BETA 2009 Level 3 EN13158:2018 level 3 BETA 2018 Level 3, Body Protectors will be checked. Medical Armbands should be worn for the Cross Country phase
  • Timepieces are permitted to be worn on the cross country course by rider’s graded C grade and upwards.
  • Protests must be made on the day, in writing accompanied by a $50 lodgment fee
  • Bandages must be padded and stitched.
  • Nosebands must be worn for the dressage phase.
  • All riders compete at their own risk.
  • Riders may be asked to leave the cross country course at the discretion of the Committee
  • Neither the Harden Pony Club nor the Committee will be responsible for any accident, injury, loss or damage to any horse, rider, groom, spectator or any other person who enters the Murrumburrah Harden Showground over the duration of the ODE
  • All rules and amendments, as per PCA of NSW will apply
  • No dogs allowed on grounds unless on a leash at all times
  • Full pony Club uniform must be worn, club or zone polo shirt may be worn in the cross country phase.
  • Prizes to 4thplace in every grade, except the Led Group where all riders will receive a prize.
