CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
RIDER CLASSES Riders can only enter one of classes 5, 6, 7 or 8. Any age rider can enter the pairs.
STABLES Must be left clean after use.
ETIQUETTE Participants at this event will at all times display correct manners to judges, volunteers and officials. Failure to do so will result in exclusion from the remainder of the Show and further action may be taken at the discretion of the organisers.
MEASURING All horses entered in classes where height is specified must have a current SHC/EA height certificate which must be produced if requested.
TIMES Order of events shown in the program should be used as a guide only. ASPC reserves the right to vary the times, order and amalgamate classes. There will be a short break at midday for approximately 30 minutes.
JUMP STEWARDS Each horse/rider combination entered in the jumping must nominate a steward. Stewards will report to jump penciller at nominated time. If the riders steward is not available the rider will not be able to participate.
PROTESTS in writing to ASPC committee within 30 mins of incident with a non-refundable $50 fee.
AGE Age of rider to be as of 1st of January 2019. Minimum age of horse is 4 years old.
STALLIONS No stallion, colt, entire or rig is permitted to take part in any ASPC event.
HORSE SECURITY While a horse is out of the stable/yard at any pony club activity, the horse must be restrained with a headstall and lead or a bridle. Only horses entered in the event are permitted on competition grounds on the date of the event.
REFUNDS The ASPC committee must be advised of the scratching in writing/email prior to the commencement of the event. A written request for a refund of nomination, including a vet or doctor’s certificate must be received by the ASPC committee within one week of event.
GEAR CHECK All gear may be inspected by a steward prior to any event to ensure it complies with PCANT rules. Responsibility for the use of the correct saddlery and equipment according to the rules of PCANT and the specific competition rests with the competitor. Failure to comply with the rules may entail elimination from the competition.
ATTIRE - ALL RIDERS MUST WEAR A PCA APPROVED HELMET AND LONG SLEEVES.
Option 1 Pony Club Members are permitted to wear Formal Pony Club Uniform, or
Option 2 Traditional show attire, jodhpurs or neat riding trousers, shirt with tie or stock. Riding boots with heel. Under 18 years; short boots, no chappettes. Coats are optional.

Option 2 Showjumping attire as per EA regulations. Jodhpurs or neat riding trousers, shirt with tie or stock. Riding boots with heel. Coats are optional.
All participants to abide by the PCANT Code of Conduct.
DISCLAIMER Neither the ASPC organising committee of any contest to which these rules apply, nor the PCANT, accept any liability for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, ground, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS The Organisers reserve the right: (a) to cancel any class or event. (b) to divide any class. (c) to alter the advertised times (d) to refuse any entry, with or without stating the reason (e) to transfer competitors between sections of a class (f) to combine classes if less than 3 competitors Classes offered on the day.
