COVID Safe Event

This will be a COVID safe event and as such, the following must be adhered to.

  • Please stay home if you:
  • All attendees must sign in via a QR Code or they will not be permitted entry to the ground.
  • Social distancing (1.5m apart, 1 person per 4m2), hand sanitiser and COVID-19 precautions will be in place
  • To help keep us all safe, follow directions from event officials and obey signage
  • This is a day event only, no one is permitted on the ground prior to 7am on Sunday 1st November or after 6pm on the same day.
  • Contact-free gear check. The riders parent/guardian must be in attendance during gear check to adjust any gear accordingly.
  • Bring your own equipment and do not borrow anything from anyone else, including tack, water and feed tubs. 
  • Horses are to be placed in allocated stalls only. Only the rider/parent is to approach that stall. 
  • All attendees are recommended to wear face masks when not mounted. Social mingling not recommended.
  • Please limit the number of spectators attending if they are not volunteering. Instead of the extended family attending, please take and share videos to reduce numbers of attendees.
  • There will be a COVID-safe canteen. Please respect social-distancing whilst lining up.
  • If you experience any COVID symptoms with 14 days after the event, please follow all NSW Health Guidelines and advise Cooma PC ASAP

Entry fee $25 per rider (pre-entry on MyPonyClub).

Attendance cards and jump cards MUST be presented on the day.

THIS IS A COVID SAFE EVENT -By entering this event you acknowledge and agree to follow the COVID safe plan.

Gear check – 9 am      Start - 9.30am

  • 9 to under 11
  • 11 to under 13
  • 13 to under 15
  • 15 to under 17
  • Associates – 17 to under 26

Canteen will be in operation on the day.

There will be a short lunch break to allow for set-up of afternoon events.

* Please note that led riders will not be participating in the jumping event.

  • Points will be scored for placings up to 5th for each event. There will be a presentation at the conclusion of events. Prizes will be awarded for Age group champion and reserve champion (Must have attended 3 rallies in the previous 12 months to be eligible for points)
  • Led riders must be led from the shoulder and must be led all day
  • All rails will be placed on the ground for events involving poles for led riders.
  • Riders must be current members of PCA, Events will be run under PCA Rules
  • Riders will be gear checked & must be wearing approved helmets and boots
  • One horse per rider, one rider per horse
  • Cooma Pony Club reserves the right to change or alter program if necessary
  • Any disputes must be taken to the club committee to be determined (a dispute fee of $50 will be payable within 30 minutes of the event in question)
  • Competitors take part at their own risk
  • Refunds until close of entries only, unless vet/medical certificate supplied.
